Laser Marking Experiment

 
  Knowledge Introduction
 
    Laser marking is using appropriate energy density, focused laser beam on the surface of the workpiece to scan the target surface, the material physical or chemical changes in the formation of traces on the surface, thus forming the marking process. It belongs to a non-contact marking method. Compared with the traditional processing methods, it has the advantages of wide application range, fast marking speed, stable performance, high quality, low running cost, little environmental pollution, easy computer control and synchronous operation with other equipments. Therefore, the laser marking has become one of the important applications of laser.
    Through the study of this experiment, students can understand the principle of laser generation and marking, also the components of marking machine and the fiber laser in different samples on the marking process test rules, the experimental results were also discussed.
