Fiber Sensing Experiment

 
  Knowledge Introduction
 
At present, there are many types fiber optic sensor, including fiber grating sensors, distributed fiber optic sensors, fiber optic interferometer sensors, etc., in these sensors, the fiber optic sensor is simple, direct and widely application, which directly use the transmission and reflection characteristics of fiber end field.

In this experiment, we use optical fiber as an optical transmission device, which can be related to a number of fiber optic sensing experiments with easy operation and observation of sensing phenomenon. Help students deeply understand the principle of optical fiber sensing and practical application, grasp basic skills. This experiment can be used as thematic or comprehensive experiment for related courses.
